There is no mandate. They wouldn't even meet the 60 vote threshold to override a filibuster in the Senate.
Not a landslide. Not even a majority of the country.
Updated popular vote count per Cook Political Report

Trump 76,666,332 (49.93%)

Good job Nataliya!
Who says women don't belong in the military?

Whelp, we’re about to see what America has the stomach for. I don’t think it’s for this
At 4:03 AM Trump posts that he is prepared to use the military to round up migrants in a mass deportation effort after Mike Johnson, Tony Gonzales & other Republicans spent the weekend saying this was not the case.

Seems easier to count the ones who haven't been accused.
Serious question: How many of Trump’s prospective nominees and staffers have been credibly accused of sexual harassment or assault?

NYT headline upping the ante on "this is all normal" with a touch of glitz & glamour of how (supposedly) rich folks do government.
I'm sorry but I think the chandeliers are not the story here. COME ON. The story does get into the absolutely appalling trump picks... but this headline makes it sound like a broadway play. And just a reminder: headlines do matter.

One of the things that angers me most about the Trump era is that none of what he or his party are doing is deemed precedent. Meaning: if any future Democratic Congress or POTUS does even 0.1% of what Trumpism has done, you’ll be able to hear media and the GOP howling from Mars.

And we all know it.

We agreed this word was not at all right...

I crossed it out and wrote "fabulous" 😁
