Here’s a snarky section of a comment letter I wrote 2 years ago about a bill that was trying to allow those sidewalk robots up to 550lb/10mph walkmass.org/2023/10/30/t...

Grew up in south jersey/philadelphia suburbs, now live in Massachusetts and have not heard of this but sounds great! So it is the savory/pickled sibling of the cookie table? My wife grew up outside Pittsburgh, so we did one for our wedding (Gift link) www.nytimes.com/2009/12/16/d...

Here’s the newsletter where tree saving bumpout in somerville is referenced. Again, not a systematic plan, but a good move by the councilor bsky.app/profile/benf...

I hear ya. Believe joe barr had shared at one point in a city council hearing about snow that the town he grew up in in Canada had trees and signs on the other side of sidewalk, which meant the community was more able to fully clear sidewalks of snow during winter, too

Is that in Spring Hill? Saw Councilor Ewen-Campen reference issue in a recent newsletter. In short term, glad it is happening rather than the previous shrug of shoulders / trying to pit trees vs ADA access.

Here’s one in Cambridge on Pearl St I reference often

#44 Erin Donahue was such an impressive high school athlete. (I grew up in town where she went to high school). Insane range: scored over 1000pts as a basketball player and multiple state championships across cross country, basketball, 800, mile, 2 mile, javelin! nj.milesplit.com/articles/313...
