e33 deserves awards for no other reason than it being a bunch of former ubisoft deserves being vindicated in their ideas and passions, but it's rarely recognized for that esp. when the game is already so intensely derivative that we can just make an infographic of where all its mechanics come from

everyone in the industry can recognize that TGA does virtually nothing to actively protect and celebrate its devs (hell, smashjt was allowed in the room), but i do think the demographic running the most defense for it are content creators who don't really understand what slop is and what creates it
