Maintaining a heritage language within the home helps create bilingual children. Wish I would’ve taken the time to teach my own our heritage language. I love hearing children navigate 2 languages fluently!

This week I presented HR 37, "Apraxia Awareness Day" on the Assembly Floor. I had the priveledge of my family joining me and sharing their time with us to recognize my niece Areli, who was sitting with me at my desk today. She was diagnosed with Apraxia at two years old. #apraxiaawareness #teamsoria
