Is Russia right for invading Ukraine, because it says it should be part of Russia? Would China be right for invading Taiwan, because it says it should be part of China?
TAPPER: Can you rule out the US is going to take Greenland by force?

MILLER: Greenland should be part of the US. By what right does Denmark assert control over Greenland? The US is the power of NATO

T: So force is on the table?

M: Nobody is gonna fight the US militarily over future of Greenland

NATO is done if Trump invades Greenland. NATO is done if Russia attacks any NATO country; the US won’t respond. Otherwise, it’s on hiatus until the next administration, unless it’s Vance. Then, it’s probably the end.

Expect more statements like this coming out of Europe. It’s a tacit admission that they can’t do anything about it, because any strong words or actions would put Europe in the middle of a US-Russia sandwich.
Keir Starmer explicitly backs Trump's attack on Venezuela.

Says he has "long supported" getting rid of Maduro, who is an "illegitimate President" and "we shed no tears about the end of his regime".

Sounds like we don’t need Congress if its only job is to deny it has any job at all. Count on Tom Cotton for a bad faith argument.
Tom Cotton: "Congress isn't notified when the FBI is going to arrest a drug trafficker or cyber criminal here in the US, nor should Congress be notified when the executive branch is executing arrests on indicted persons. And that's really what you can make the analogy to here."

One mobster eliminated another mobster to take over his turf.
FOX & FRIENDS: What do you see as the future of Venezuela's oil industry?

TRUMP: Well I see that we're gonna be very strongly involved in it. That's all. What can I say. We have the greatest oil companies in the world.

Americans’ health insurance premiums are skyrocketing. Many politicians eager say that healthcare is not a human right. It is earned by working. But what if you are working and still can’t afford healthcare? Is it a luxury good?

The U.S. has no apparent need for the CIA anymore. Trump gets Russian intelligence directly from Putin now.
Reporter: Is there any evidence?

Trump: I mean, you're saying maybe the attack didn't take place? It's possible, I guess, but President Putin told me this morning it did.

No security guarantee to Ukraine will be worth the paper it’s printed on. Whether 15 years or 50 years, it doesn’t matter. During his last presidency, Trump violated NAFTA to negotiate USMCA, which he violated in his current presidency.

There’s value in soft power. Cutting off foreign aid and rejecting Africa has the consequence of creating inroads for adversaries. The U.S. is ceding its soft power advantage to China, which will be a hard power advantage when it has military bases everywhere.

The U.S. peace plan is to reward Russia with more land than it has already stolen by force, so it can increase economic ties with Russia and profit from rebuilding efforts. Far from being an ally to Ukraine, the U.S. isn’t even neutral. Trump is an ally to Putin.

Duffy wagons would only be available in the U.S., because other countries won’t follow the U.S. in lowering fuel standards. And Trump is a lame duck now, making it unlikely that the reduced standards will have any staying power. Auto manufacturers have high risk and low reward to make big changes.
Sean Duffy on slashing fuel economy standards: "This rule will actually allow you to bring back the 1970s station wagon. Maybe a little wood paneling on the side. We can bring back choice to consumers."

What could possibly go wrong? Microcars are not feasible in the U.S., because Americans love SUVs, and every vehicle is a bus in comparison. Microcars would be death traps.
CNBC: Trump said he saw microcars over in the Asia -- 'Why don't we have these here?' There are reasons we don't see those vehicles. Will you change the rules so they can be built and driven on highways?

DUFFY: He called me after the meeting and said, 'Let's change the rules.' We're in the process.
