The master plan for the tank has all the pieces in place except one, the acro corals. I’ve talked to New York Reef Aquatic and they have selected and set aside 10 acros for me which I’ll add at the end of November. Then it’s just consistency and letting it grow.

For those who don’t know how saltwater aquariums function, here’s my “sump” where the filtration is. There are a lot of things left to get fully corrected as I get my tank healthy again. (Continued)

Ok ok - I shouldn’t have but I did. I went to New York Reef Aquatic and bought the 4 favia corals I wanted (left leg of left arch) - but I feel so much happier about the table-facing side of the tank being populated.

New corals are happy so far. Hopefully in November I can finally start repopulating the tops of the arches with acros.

Sticking to the new maintenance schedule. The new corals are doing ok. New fish are doing great. Still a long long way to go before it looks “good”
