looking promising over here, i’m about 5% more excitement away from posting my lunch like it’s 2010 again
my Twitter For You feed was largely tolerable for most of this year if not just overcrowded with pop stans but this week it’s turned into full on right wing garbage, i want/need this platform to finally take off you guys pls let it stick this time

A take that I’ve been playing with is that absorbing opinions through anything that isn’t text is bad. We’re taught to be skeptical of text, and we’re less skeptical if someone tells us something with confidence. This gets way worse if the person is charismatic and on video.
Since 2020 I’ve increasingly felt like we’re in a digital dark ages, where illiteracy is skyrocketing, people believe in magic, disease is rampant, oligarchs rule, and it’s all facilitated by ultra modern technology that has evolved to reinforce it
