The man is a sick fuck. This was apparent long before his descent on that gaudy escalator in 2015.

Were it not for the cruelty, the rest of the world would be laughing. Your country is coming off as as idiots.

I'd certainly be one of the three.

I've experienced something similar with New Brunswick writer Charles Ross Graham (pen name David Montrose). Fortunately, Canadian copyright law allows use if one can demonstrate efforts to contact an estate. And so all four of his post-war thrillers are now back in print. My very favourite cover:

Given his health, Trump will be lucky to make it to 2028.

I think of Josh Hawley running like a frightened child mere hours after giving a fist pump to the MAGA crowd.

Watching the violence of January 6th, I thought that he was well and truly done, even with the vast majority of those who had voted for him two months earlier. He was sure to go down as a far greater disgrace that Nixon. Was I ever wrong!

Russia's GDP is less than that of Canada, despite having over 3.5 times the population. It relies on Soviet-era armaments and technology.

I see your country nearly every day, not two miles across the St Lawrence. How many times has this Canadian visited the United States? 200? 300? I'm not sure I ever will again. It came as a shock when you elected this man. That you did it twice beggars belief. It's like we never knew you at all.

"We want the money not to be paid at all to insurance companies."

Easily done! Provide universal health care. Most of the western world did this a half-century ago.

Indeed, a banana republic. The country has become a laughing stock. I can see it daily, not two miles across the St Lawrence, and wonder whether I'll ever visit again.

Leonard Cohen died on 7 November 2016 and the very next day the timeline shifted to the dumbest.

He'll be pardoning Rose West next.

Bloody hell, I'm Canadian and I know this.

If Trump had been homeschooled he would’ve punched his mother in the face and not a teacher.

Was that one person a big man, a strong man? Did her say "It's unbelievable. Our economy is unbelievable," with tears in his eyes? Did he call you "sir"?

Let us never forget that Donald J. Trump's grandfather was a Bavarian draft dodger who made his fortune running a brothel in Canada.

Universal health care came to Canada eighty-seven years ago. Sixty-four years ago it covered the entire country.

By short term, do you mean Trump's magical two months?

Snow? In Canada?

Odd, we have a horrible relationship with you. In fact, we’d prefer having nothing to do with you.

Canadians are laughing.

That you elected him once had us questioning your country's sanity. That you did a second time, particularly after the assault on your Capitol, was confirmation of our worst fears.
