Last #Tolkien purchase of the year. Had never seen this before but familiar with the artist. Print of Gandalf by Russ Nicholson. Takes me back. His art was to be found in the Fighting Fantasy gamebooks. Think the runes say "Gandalf climbed to top of his tree" #TheHobbit @joelmerriner.bsky.social
