It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

My elderly, recently widowed, legally blind mom received notification from Aetna (that contracts with Medicare Part D to cover prescriptions) that her monthly premium went from $44 to $94, along with a higher deductible. Congress went on vacation until 2026. My hate for the GOP is infinite.

Another reminder that it’s not just Trump that lead us to where we are today. It’s a mass media fed consumer culture that relies on vanity and envy to sell its wares. It is a corrosive culture that promotes selfishness and narcissism, and was rewarded by an election that validated it with a king.

Does MAGA have the mental capacity to draw conclusions from Trump’s extrajudicial and illegal killing of drug running mules and his pardoning of the former Honduran president convicted of smuggling cocaine and weapons into the USA. Will they ever wake the fuck up?

The murder of Colombians in a boat was an extra judicial killing that raises the question that the Trump administration was helping the Colombian government get rid of a couple of low level cartel mules as a sacrifice to avoid further military action by the US.

I am stunned by anyone that thinks the release of the Epstein files will be the downfall of Trump. What world have they been living in the past 10 years? It’s truly unhealthy to believe this fantasy about a man that has shown no remorse or contrition for all the horrible shit he has said and done.
