Friends! Look what magic happened! 🥰 My last video was 11/4/17. I haven’t seen one in the front yard in soooo long. When I pulled in from yoga tonight, look who I found! 😁💘🕸️🕷️

This is old and amateur—fall 2018, I think. I fell so hard for this Tropical Orb Weaver (Eriophora ravilla). She’d build her web every night in our front yard and consume it again by dawn. When she was gone, I was crushed.
I felt I owed some of my fave invert accounts some content. 🕸️😘

And to top it all off I noted the Passiflora suberosa (incorrectly identified as P. edulis and also incorrectly named as “pop up”—I was searching for “Maypop” 🤦‍♀️). I am rusty. Anyway, these are my silver linings, however imperfect it all may be.

I had an adventure this evening.
For 3 hours I had a dog and it was glorious.
Two hours after this video I asked the right person, and minutes later we were standing in “Andy’s” living room. He was home.
He was such a good boy. 💕
