There are a dozen mice jealous of how pretty she is?

Actually yeah, that probably sounds about right. Maybe a bit low actually.

Yeah, it feels amazing getting to live in the world instead of inside your head.

That's my secret. I always post bad

Wow, what a hornifying ball of brainworms. I mean a fornicating ball of brainworms. I mean a horrifying dolled up brainfuck. Shit, I mean a-

Those you mentioned feel otherwise. Their entire raison d'être is that they're unhappy with Bluesky's moderating decisions in respect to their demographic (and others in solidarity), and have no way to set up their own moderation without their own hosting. This should be obvious on its face.
December 9, 2025 at 4:01 PM
The hosts you're yelling at did pick one. They picked ideological moderation and in order to excel at that it was necessary that they get into the infrastructure business to safeguard their independence.

If you want neutral infrastructure to enable others to self-moderate you're free to build it.

Good luck! I'm sure it's not going to be a fun time but you can still do it.

Right, no arguments here. I also suspect that a lot of "prompt engineering" is just rearranging chairs and that tweaking prompts is largely a smokescreen for the real "work" of taking more pulls at the slot machine. There are some pitfalls to avoid but it's mostly just a matter of persistence.

Yeah, it actually is super time intensive unless you're just posting the first garbage it spits out. You need to sort through a lot of attempts to find something usable and since you're not going to get something perfect you have to go back and compare takes to figure out the best one.

Super cute! I love the evolution from "nice cheekbones" to "holy shit those cheeks."
December 9, 2025 at 3:10 AM
Could just be very 4chan brained.
December 9, 2025 at 2:23 AM
You overstated the issue by a full order of magnitude, that's not a "very similar" statistic.
December 8, 2025 at 10:56 PM
Yeah it turns out when you introduce the average person to a firehose of the good brain chemicals it does not do good things for their ability to separate fantasy from reality

"expressly female-looking"
December 8, 2025 at 10:40 PM
I think part of the issue is that for some people it's actually extremely hot to contextualize submission in terms that remove your own agency and cast it as an intrinsic truth rather than a conscious act (because it's even more submissive that way.)

Not endorsing it, just calling it like I see it.

The problem is that the "lost" men can't actually do it on their own. They want women to take care of them and have sex and babies with them.

That's the imbalance: they want women more than women want them, but they want to be in a position of control despite having a weaker negotiating position.
December 8, 2025 at 8:30 PM
Pffft, you're only doing objectively good things because you think it makes you look good!

I follow trans issues in UK news more than is probably healthy and this happens over and over again, not just in the Peggie case.

I am trying very hard to not say unkind things about other womens' appearance but I do have a suspicion that jealousy is a substantial component of these complaints...

Anecdotal but I know a lot of small farmers who have turned on Trump hard. The problem is that serious small farmers are a rare dying breed and are not a huge part of the rural population, and the people tooling tractors around a few acres for fun don't give a shit about the business of farming.

It's not clear what the standard would be in situations where there were not already adequate alternatives available (and preferably already in use.) But I think it's absolutely justified to be concerned about the way this precedent will be wielded.
December 8, 2025 at 5:34 PM
The tribunal based their finding that Dr. Upton should have been temporarily barred on the availability of alternate spaces that were less convenient but still considered adequate (adequacy being demonstrated by other employees voluntarily choosing to use them, and Dr. Upton being agreeable to them)
