This is a really relevant point, because most of the guys in the Bernie->Trump pipeline were to the right of center pre-Bernie! So yes, their trajectory demonstrates how malleable this cadre is, but not in a good way: it shows they will slide back into fascism the instant the moment passes.

Still waiting in the explanation of why it's vitally important to talk about someone in terms of their anatomy unless they are a patient under your care as a medical professional. The explanation is reasonable and innocuous, I'm sure.

This is the definition of wollfipathian as written by the person who coined the term. someone, like me, who was born with PMDS will usually check every one of these boxes.

The terms are clunky, exclusionary, bioessentialist, and not fit for purpose.

Wolffipathians, also known as people with typical wolffian developmental pathway (people with TWDP), is a term to replace "the male sex." This is done to separate the male gender from sex, as calling people "male" can misgender them.

Wolffipathians have the following:

-XY chromosomes.

-A penis, which has a moderately-sized (or large) phallus, a scrotum beneath the phallus, foreskin protecting the head of the phallus, and a urethra on the tip of the penis. The penis is straight or slightly curved when erect.

-Two average-sized testicles (that are descended into the scrotum), two vas deferens, an average-sized prostate, and two average-sized seminal vesicles.

-(During puberty, without the influence of HRT) Androgens as the main sex hormone, falling into the typical range compared to other wolffipathians. They typically experience an increase in muscle mass, higher amounts of body/facial hair, and a deeper pitched voice - however, these traits can vary based on genetics and race, and aren't guaranteed.

And there's a pretty good case to say that the on the ground present reality for trans people in Britain is worse than that in the United States.

Very good case, I think.
I know as a fact that trans kids who joined the NHS waiting list are now being, well, their families are being targeted by social services, threatening to take those children into care, if their parents continue to indulge their transness, and are being visited by the police, if they continue to offer gender-affirming care.

And I know for a fact that the
consequence of that for some families is that kids are being forcibly de-transitioned. And I know for a fact that in the UK, many, many families are profoundly worried about losing their kids to suicide. So parents are sleeping on mattresses at the end of their children's beds because they are so worried about what their children might do if given the opportunity.

My email inbox, I'm afraid, is a river of profound trauma from loving families who are struggling to keep their children alive and who are being hounded by social services, hounded by the NHS, which is misusing data that it has collected to offer supportive health care to these kids, and in some cases, also being hounded by the police.

And I've been saying now for several years, and I say again to those who are lucky enough to have this choice.
The United Kingdom is not a safe place to raise trans children unless you are very wealthy.

I'm sorry to be so blunt about it, but these are things I know to be true, and I see the trauma in my inbox.

The latest polling projects them potentially losing 95% of their seats in Parliament (with the caveat that there's not likely to be a general election soon.) Turns out the big tent is mostly empty.

I was gonna say, RLE seems like a bizarre choice for storing text given that you basically never see more than 2 letters repeating. Maybe a pseudo RLE where you use lower bits to select a character and higher bits to indicate repetition? But in a text light game the parser eats the space saved.

Even if you're comparing US numbers, there are 280 million registered vehicles and most of those are in regular use. Decreasing car usage by 0.25% would have a bigger impact than eliminating every single inhaler with problematic propellant, but no, apparently inhalers are the "low hanging fruit."

Yeah, no question there. There's a reason there's a lot of recurring language about "mangling breasts and vaginas that have never even known the touch of a man" (this is a paraphrase because I'm not looking up actual quotes, but it's a very close paraphrase to statements from multiple people.)
