Also beyond BDS there is a way that people treat things like boycotts as ends unto themselves that makes it feel like theyโre more about the morality of the boycotter than getting the boycotted to change.

By the strictest definition Ramy Youssef violated BDS by filming S3 of his show in Israel, despite that whole arc being pretty critical of Israel!

My biggest frustration with BDS has nothing to do with the question of whether it is antisemitic and everything to do with the way some adherents treat the boycotts, divestment, and sanctions as the end goal rather than a strategy to achieve peace and liberation

Also yes itโs Apple Store chic as well but American Apparel predates the Apple Store and 1990s Apple was extremely not this. Look at the colors! The serifs!
