Powell is saying we've lost 140k jobs since April (compared to Trump admin claim of gaining 280k) .
Ordinarily this would spark big interest rate reductions and other actions to save the economy from a punishing recession.
But they can't save us because of inflation, caused by Trump's tariffs.

In order to tip the scales and get more money out of the lump sum. You'd have to invest and get 14%, which is unrealistic or would require a lot of risk...
