We now learn that Fifa had a very specific "ask" in exchange for its "Peace Award" to Trump, with loads of gold trinkets, and that was dismissal of a criminal corruption case against senior Fifa officials. And Trump granted it. Another corrupt bargain, barely noticed (and ignored by US media).

Ordinarily this would spark big interest rate reductions and other actions to save the economy from a punishing recession.
But they can't save us because of inflation, caused by Trump's tariffs.

I'm proud of the press for continuing to send what serious female reporters.

People that only follow the news casually can be forgiven for not knowing about the accomplishments Democrats have made over these years.
Both the Obama and Biden administrations took tons of actions to better our lives, but it never got as much attention as one offhand comment by Trump.

Seems kind of unfair to label Democrats as weak when the other party represents all the entrenched power of white supremacy, the police, industry, farmers the military, Wall st, SCOTUS, the ultra wealthy and the Democrats essentially play them to a tie electorally and pass far more legislation.
