So on top of being a DM and a writer I also act! I mostly have done theater but I also love short film work, specially weekend challenges. This is my teams film from 2022, where we only had 54 hours to write, shoot, edit and turn in a short film. This one happens to be RPG themed!

What's been your most fun high concept for an RPG character?
In Stars Without Numbers I played a character who was from a world, that for a thousand years , only had Arnold Schwarzenegger films. As in not just entertainment but it was the only form of media that survived. Hilarity ensues.

What bugs me about the intentional devaluing of art by tech is that almost anyone can actually learn how to art. Like, it takes time, and failures abound, but the myth that some people just pop out of the womb with a can or can't stamped on their heads is a crock.

My DND/TTRPG hot take.
There are two types of GMS. Those that had the guts to make sure that you all got to play by getting out of their comfort zone, and those that just haven't tried that yet. If you're a player, you are absolutely capable of running a game, just maybe not DND.

For people that started playing RPGs in the mid-2000s, which would be well after the satanic panic, but before streaming games became a thing, how has the hobby becoming popular felt to you? I didn't start playing when it was either taboo or popular and I'm curious who else is in the same boat.

I can't even begin to count the number of stock photos, public domain images and other free-to-use or bought art assets I've used in my books. And either used them as-is or modded them or based my art on them. There is literally ZERO reason to ever use generative AI.

What rule from what RPG do you use at every game?
