They are operating outside the law, stealing people who are "following the process" and checking in with immigration, who are not "criminals", immigrants who were welcomed to America to seek refuge, abd sometimes repopulate smalls towns, and arresting and deporting without a judge's order. /1

Ketanji Brown Jackson signed the order - I'm willing to listen to why.... but it's concerning to put it mildly.

What needs to happen is anyone who claims to be ICE but has a mask and no ID visible needs to be pulled over by local or state police and detained until they can prove their identity. Perhaps their documents are forged, so they will need to be put into the cells for a while to check things out.
