it actually turned out so good - so moist and tender without being gummy or gritty like gf baking tends to be!!! a resounding success

it’s a vanilla bean cake with a lemon curd for filling and a vanilla icing. nothing too too crazy, but should be very yummy! i made a swiss meringue icing with aquafaba for the first time and it was crazy how it behaved just like eggwhites!

i have never done lettering before so that’s not exactly what i was going for but i’m so pleased with it nevertheless! i haven’t baked a cake in so long and it’s like coming home to an old friend
