This flew under the radar, but Trump revoked a minimum wage hike for companies that contract with the government.

An estimated 390,000 workers will now see significant pay cuts.

It's not surprising that Trump's populism is fake, but it's hardly ever been more clear.

Trump is holding a crypto summit today to promote a "national crypto reserve," which would likely enrich himself and his crypto industry donors.

Who will get left holding the bag for the largest Ponzi scheme in history? American taxpayers.

If Biden were behaving the way Trump is with his wild decision-making, next day volte face, and backtracking from pillar to post he would be labelled too old, senile and unfit for office...why that's exactly how the #MAGA crowd described Biden.

Why does #Trump get a pass?

Can we evict America from US military bases in the UK? They're entirely superfluous if #POTUS is a #Putin asset.

We could even play #Trump and Putin's game and call the presence of US bases on our soil "a national security threat".

It appears to be part of Donald Trump's more sceptical approach towards to Kyiv.

As a candidate, Trump promised to end surprise medical billing.

Just weeks into his second term, DOGE has slashed the federal office charged with implementing a bipartisan law cracking down on surprise medical bills.

Yet another Trump lie.

Trump's first round of staff cuts to federal agencies eliminated dozens of positions at the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight, in charge of implementing the No Surprises Act.

Great to see swift decision-making in Europe on defence & #Ukraine.

#ReArmEuropePlan & now a proposal in Germany to unlock mor Defence spending is agreed.

Big issue is that any reform of the 'debt brake' requires a 2/3 majority & the CDU/CSU & the SPD don't have the numbers on their own.
#Germany
CDU/CSU &SPD have just proposed a sea change in German fiscal policy:

- defence spending above 1% of GDP exempt from debt brake
- 10-year €500bn special fund for infrastructure
- looser debt rules for states
- further debt-brake reform in new Bundestag

The #RearmEuropePlan is great news, especially for the support of #Ukraine against #Putin and Russia's unprovoked and revanchist war of aggression.

But more spending does not move the needle in the short term in terms of Europe being able to defend itself independent of America...

Trying to understand what the #US gets in return for selling #Ukraine & Europe down the river & showing a great display of weakness to its adversaries

USA has zero leverage over #Russia. Sanctions currently in place are offset by Russia's war economy which is delivering over 4% GDP annual growth...

This is absolutely wild! Anti-immigration politics in some red states is engendering a society where the act of voting can be punished with a custodial sentence

"A new law in Tennessee makes voting for a sanctuary-style policy a felony punishable by up to six years in prison"

Art can be revolutionary. But any work of art is not inherently revolutionary.

In fact, a lot of art is revolutionary by accident. As in "It's not what you look at, it's what you see" in an artistic work, as an observer.
Art is revolutionary.
