There's a sizeable chunk of the investing community that would argue Nvidia (NVDA) is overvalued.

Three years ago it traded on a P/E of 70. It's returned 77% a year since.

Investing is hard.

McBride PLC looks absurdly cheap.

But that balance sheet...

Granted they're reducing net debt but it still isn't one for me.

Great thread
a short 🧵 on equity downturns, a function of a conversation with my mentee (currently 8 years into a City career in equities). it occurred to me that she's seen most types of equity drawdown, but not the one that historically does a lot of damage and will no doubt do again when it next appears 1/n

Currently looking at the L&G Global 100 tracker. 0.09% TER, tracking the largest 100 companies globally.

Yes, a higher than average weighting towards US equities, but let's be honest, aren't global markets led by the US anyway?
Keen to find out from anyone managing a junior S&S ISA what strategy they've taken regarding investments. Stock picking? Low cost tracker/ETF?
