As I walked away he was grumpily inspecting each slice and slamming it on the ground. Then he called to report the accident. He was somebody's DoorDash driver. In what was surely, SURELY his first day on the job.

I've been thinking about it ever since. Why was he doing the one hand in the air thing? It can only be to match the cartoon. It was a sit down scooter, with plenty of places to set the pizza. He ate shit purely to maintain iconic purity.

Saw a guy on an electric scooter holding multiple pizzas with one hand, like way up in the air just like the cartoon guy on the pizza box, only to completely eat shit and send pizza shrapnel everywhere. Swear to god one of those slices went straight up, 30 feet in the air.
