It's crazy that bank holidays are a thing when the majority of banking is automated. You can buy whatever you want, but sorry your deposit won't be available for 3 days because we want to make you wait a day, Christmas Eve is technically a federal holiday this year, and the day after is Christmas.😮💨

More parts came in. Upper is pretty much complete. Next order will be a new buffer tube, gearbox, ETU, and motor. So close to finishing in terms of parts, but the gearbox needs to be radiused, AOE needs to be checked, and gears need to be shimmed. Making headway, but parts are expensive😅

Update on my outdoor build. External parts came in last night, and everything is mostly put together. Need to buy a new buffer tube. The receiver is listed as a QBS reciever, but I can only assume it's an older model QBS because the QBS tube I ordered doesn't fit. TM spec tube should work.

Decided that I'm tired of repeating myself and saying things several times over because people aren't listening or not paying attention after the second time. If it's worth not hearing the first time and not paying attention the second time, I think it's not worth me saying. This angers some🫠

So friends TM AA12 stopped working last Saturday and I'm just now getting to fix it. Tell me how the hell did the screw for the rear right come loose and lodge itself into the gearbox? Like actually WTF?!?!?!

Revised my outdoor rifle and have a new parts list. It's going to be more expensive than expecting, but FUCK IT WE BALL!!!!
Just ordered the externals and that came up to close to $300. Can't wait to have a husk of a gun to stare at until I get internals sorted. 🥰

Slowly coming to realize that years of covering for friends' lunch has fucked my perception of what's normal to pay at a restaurant. I'm used to paying around $70 having lunch with friends, but my coworker thought $20 for a burger with fries at a restaurant was a lot when we had lunch today.😵💫

Holidays ain't what it used to be. There's no more fighting people at stores at 1am on black Friday anymore. Now the entire month of November and December and half of January is just one big constant sale and it gets extended every year.😵💫
