the term 'blowback' for things like mujahidin->9/11 and this new DC shooting, i guess means something like: we control X, but then X does something bad to us out of our control. it's that second "out of our control" bit that seems kinda non sequitirly tacked on.

I'm no fan of adding lanes to freeways etc, but I think pointing out the fact of 'induced demand' is kinda funny. like, for the powers that be, that's really threatening them with a good time

though for me it is read left-to-right as if it was english cursive and is pronounced saso
