The only topic guaranteed to appear on QT each week is immigration- usually because there is a seat reserved every program for Reform (over every other political party or group. If they can’t make it, a right wing think tank or journalist will keep the seat warm.

I would vote whole heartedly for any party (assuming Reform don’t have a complete volte-face) that stated, ‘Brexit was a mistake; the cost to the country was dear. Our aim is to rejoin the EU at the earliest possible opportunity and within three years of being elected’. No referendum needed.

In the light of the recent announcement by the OBR I think all of this needs reappraising, starting with an apology from Mason with his ill-judged and misinformed attack on Reeves.

The trouble is Sir T is that the very cream of the Tory party has gone to Reform. Especially Gullis for whom I had high hopes as a future leader and PM.

You are correct but pressure needs to be constantly applied to watch him shift from ‘I didn’t do it.’ To ‘I didn’t knowingly and deliberately do it’ as the evidence mounts that he definitely did target those because of their faith or colour. He looks more stupid with each denial or weasel words.

I’m guessing that once again the ‘need for balance’ strikes again, this time allowing for plain misinformation and lies to be expounded on the BBC.
I’m not sure what her expertise is on economics but that fact she’s from the Sun suggests a lack of competence.
