Due to financial strain brought about by a federal agreement & an ongoing budget deficit, Brown has put a hold on its carbon reduction efforts.

While IBES faculty members & affiliates see the pause as a setback, many told @browndailyherald.bsky.social they recognize why the decision had to be made.
