Which you can mitigate further with distributed solar and storage wherever possible.

Guess which month we added storage to our solar to maximize self generated consumption. So far, in October (November billing cycle), we've used 39 kWh of grid power.

A good day with our new Powerwall 3 battery. Charged from 16% to 100% SOC, powered the house 5 ton geothermal and topped up the car with excess solar, and now it's back feeding "the grid" aka our next-door neighbor. Zero power pulled from the grid today.

Ours was a bit pants today, but we were under a severe thunderstorm warning this afternoon. Got over an inch of rain.

But last week was much better. Shame a lot was exported at $0.025 per kWh.

These don't siphon elections. They harvest photons that liberate electrons every time the sun is up. Even when there is cloud covered.

Try making petrol at home.

Even higher than that today at Kroger on Airport Road, Hot Springs, AR.

Avian flu or supermarket profitering, or both?

Updated this picture for you.

The gesture is utterly abhorrent. Makes you wonder how this went over at his factory in Germany where that gesture is illegal.

Following his gesture today, I thought I'd add the missing toothbrush mustache.

Got to love the new solar array with its bi-facial cells. It's bright but cloud covered, yet covered in thick snow, the new array is producing 15% of its rated power.

A few weeks ago, Entergy Arkansas gave us permission to energize the new winter optimized array. Yesterday, we net exported power to the grid over the full 24 hours.

I just filled the house with smoke running the oven's self-cleaning cycle for 5 hours for the first time in 8 years.

Seems to have done the trick.

Same. MSM and The Heritage Foundation's AG Merrick Garland have a lot to answer for.

Here's a picture of our pups to cheer you up.

Oh, we know. We we're adopted by Benny, a skinny little thing with all his vertebrae sticking out. Camped outside out kitchen door for days until we took him in.

This is him letting us know he's waiting to be fed.

They do, but Labradors are taking over the world.

The black framed array has 6 fewer panels and is also rated at 9.5kW. It is designed to cover our winter heating load.

The little array on the right powers the swimming pool pump, which is not grid attached.

The original array could benefit from a wash. 😆

Energy gave us "permission" to increase our self generated Solar capacity.

The silver framed array was rated at 9.5kW and has been running for 5 years. Optimized around our cooling load for the two ground source heat pumps.
