In Arkansas you have to produce id to buy beer and wine in a grocery store.

Obviously you didn't see the results from the recent elections in the Netherlands.

He's never shopped for "groceries" in his life. But he is right about one thing, if you buy alcohol free, as in non-alcoholic, beer in Arkansas at Krogers they scan your government issued ID. FFS there's more alcohol in the ripe bananas than the non-alcoholic beer.

Government ID to buy bananas?

You don't have MRIs at a checkup. You have them because something needs to be looked at.

What was it?
What was the outcome of the MRI?

Which you can mitigate further with distributed solar and storage wherever possible.

Guess which month we added storage to our solar to maximize self generated consumption. So far, in October (November billing cycle), we've used 39 kWh of grid power.

ICE for ever $10 spent, $7 is wasted.

EV for ever $10 spent, $1 is wasted.

You can charge an EV on solar, which has no fuel/running cost. But it's difficult to refine petrol at home.

The ICE EV debate has now descended into EVs have no soul.

So what, ICE free city centers' air quality is better.

What could possibly go wrong?

Especially as renewables have overtaken coal as a worldwide generator of electricity.

September bill for $33. From August bill of $250. So far in October we've pulled 0kWh from the utility.

Solar + battery is the only way to go in Arkansas.

@aukehoekstra.bsky.social last year, my utility unilaterally changed my account from 1-to-1 net-metering to a 🇺🇸 $0.025 per kWh exported. Changed my breakeven from 12 years to 92 years on my 2018 array. My new array will never pay back. So I installed 48kWh usable battery in Aug 25. Just got my...

I wonder how soon into the project Entergy will renegue on this promise.

It's not "out of fashion", it is simply not cost competitive with renewables and natural gas.
