Apparently a rival political party has decided that Keith Bacon — Labour’s candidate in the Stapleford South East by-election — is a “career politician.”

That’s why we voted against the Council’s decision today. None of the options are perfect, but we want Broxtowe to have a seat at the table - not to be left shouting from the sidelines.

We’ve seen a number of online comments recently — including some AI-generated images — that cross the line when it comes to how councillors from any party should be treated.
