You mean the settler colonial nation that is at the heart of the imperial core, that violently oppresses other nations, with a history of indigenous elimination, anti-black racism and immigrant explotation? That one? At what time was that a reasonable model for the future?

Missed opportunity to call it the lumberjack-off

And yes, motion blur occurs naturally as a result of shutter speed, but the shutter speed is chosen to (among other things) provide a natural looking motion blur. It is also commonly added in post.

The person I responded to brought up motion blur.

Motion blur is super important in making scenes easier to follow without eye strain. While it could be used to compensate for rendering/framerate issues, it would still be important otherwise. Scenes without motion blur look janky and unrealistic, even in film - which is why motion blur is used.

I agree, but we don't have revolutionary and delectable candidates. In an election between the lesser evil and the greater evil, I will take the lesser. Show me the electable revolutionary socialist candidate and they have my vote.

Well if we don't hear about it before Monday he is going to free agency. That's the deadline vladdy has set. That's what everyone is talking about and waiting for.

Vladdy wasn't signed on January. That was a contract arbitration and doesn't have any bearing on hisbpotential extension.

Blue jays already have him under control for 2025. The big question is if they will extend his contract and avoid losing his to free agency at the end of the 2025 season

Remember when Eby said BC would never let the US put us in this position again? I will continue to support Canadian both personally and in my work. We are looking at moving > $3000/month away from AWS and > $6000/month from Amazon.

Ya, I am 180 on my phone, 178 on my laptop. And one of those hues was almost 50/50, so really just a tossup.

Mine is almost the same!

His remarks as cited in the NY Post that came out today, when Trump LITERALLY declared war on Canada (it's not just tariffs, it's annexation), are also egregious - no one should ever use his platform or work there, again

You're with Canada or with Trump

CEO of Canada’s 2nd biggest company defends Trump’s tariff demands, slams Trudeau for not stopping trade war
“These are things that every Canadian wants its government to do, too. These are not crazy demands, even if they came from an unpopular source,” Tobi Lutke, who co-founded Shopify, said…

Why not both? Vladdy would just move to 3rd. Alonso has a much lower price tag than Vladdy and would bring a needed power bat to the lineup. Blue Jays obviously looking to win this year and Alonso is only 30 years old.

Oh good, the US and Canada have a treaty! I've been looking for something to wipe my ass with.
