DHS calls whistleblowers a “threat to national security.”

But without leaks to the press, the public wouldn’t know ICE is entering homes without warrants, labeling protesters “domestic terrorists,” building surveillance tools, or pushing propaganda.
DHS calls leaks a threat. Here’s what we wouldn’t know without them
Recent leaks have exposed DHS’s warrantless home invasions, targeting of protesters, surveillance overreach, and propaganda campaigns

Courts have ruled 4,400 times that ICE jailed people illegally. It hasn’t stopped.
The decisions amount to a huge legal rebuke, but the administration has continued jailing people indefinitely.

The order to share information, which was recently communicated verbally to workers at certain SSA offices, marks a new era of collaboration between SSA and the Department of Homeland Security, ICE’s parent agency.

The SSA and DHS did not reply to requests for comment.

The recent request goes against decades of precedent and puts noncitizens at further risk of immigration enforcement actions.

Democrats, do not be fooled. If you cave and approve DHS funding, they’ll be back and worse than last time. Republicans keep showing you their hand, stop shaking it.

Today’s performance by Pam Bondi was not only unacceptable, it was clearly a smoke screen for a coverup, and her anger is at herself because her shattered moral compass still has a pulse.

CNN: "Another photograph - these are notes AG Bondi brought to the hearing today. This shows a list of Rep. Jayapal's search history. Lawmakers are allowed to go to a DOJ facility to search unredacted files. We learned from this photo that the searches are apparently being tracked & read by the DOJ"
