In a sane world, wouldn’t any Supreme Court Justice who votes to uphold this rollback be impeached for violating their Constitutional Oath?
(I know we don’t live in a sane world, but it still…)
*SUPREME COURT TO REVIEW TRUMP’S BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP ROLLBACK
December 6, 2025 at 3:39 PM
I’m trying to figure out why this bugs me so much.
Of all the grovelling federal employees have been doing to Trump, this is nowhere near the worst.
And maybe it keeps national parks off his hit list.
So why does this stick in my craw so badly?
The Trump administration has removed MLK Day and Juneteenth as holidays that include free entrance to national parks, adding the president’s birthday instead
National parks change prioritizes Trump birthday over days honoring Black people
Free entrance days at national parks no longer include MLK Day and Juneteenth.

By then he’ll have ended 6 more wars, so they’ll give it to him again.
Better than 50% chance there is no FIFA Peace Prize next year and this was a one-off to make the orange toddler happy.

How long before Putin gives Trump the International Lenin
Peace Prize?
Or maybe he has already.
Remember when he claimed he won the “Michelin Man of the Year” Award when no such thing existed?

Somehow this FIFA medal is even more embarrassing.

This sounds like good news.
I wish I was American, so I could phone up & hound a few holdout Reps.
Since we can’t ever expect Mike Johnson to do the right thing, we’re forcing a vote on extending ACA tax credits. And we only need four more members to sign the petition to make it happen.

Hang on, I thought the US was forced to bomb “drug boats” because they were so fast neither the navy nor the coast guard could catch them.
Now you’re telling me that the Coast Guard has a very successful system where snipers disable the engines?
Then why kill people?

EXCLUSIVE: The Coast Guard seized over 20,000 pounds of cocaine from a go-fast vessel during Operation Pacific Viper, a joint U.S. initiative to counter drug trafficking.

Seems like the cardinals made a great choose with this pope.
I might even say they felt the leading if the Holy Spirit & responded to it.
In remarks already sparking MAGA backlash, Pope Leo XIV called anti-Muslim panic a political weapon against immigration — and a betrayal of the Gospel.

His message directly challenges Elon Musk and MAGA leaders who frame Christian empathy as weakness.
Pope Leo to MAGA: Christians Must Stop Fearing Islam
On his first trip abroad, Pope Leo XIV extols Muslim-Christian friendship — delivering a pointed rejoinder to MAGA pundits who deride compassion as “suicidal empathy.”

Question for Sen. Cassidy:
Does your Hippocratic oath apply to your actions as a Senator?
Seems like voting to confirm Kennedy isn’t consistent with “First, do no harm.”
“What have I done!” 🤡

Nice the way this podcast host puts “Christian” first in his profile.
Jesus recruited fishermen to be his apostles. Now one of his followers is wanting them to be victims in more snuff films.

Let’s add “Peace” to every prize available.
And this year’s Grade 3 Spelling Bee Peace Prize goes to…
And the Peace Grammy for Best Country Album goes to…
And the Hoboken Jiffy Lube Peace Employee of the Month is…
These sound so much better!

Every time the US blows up 1 of these boats they move further into the “Rogue State” column.
North Korea is a pariah state, in part, because they occasionally blow up South Korean assets.

“I was paid in the past for my opinions.”
If you now admit your opinions were worthless, shouldn’t you give the money back?
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino now admits that when he peddled bogus conspiracy theories about the pipe-bombs case, he didn’t know what he was talking about.

“I was paid in the past for my opinions,” he said.

I’m not sure if he’s fully thought this through. www.ms.now/rachel-maddo...

Ok, you’re right. It’s transatlantic as far as Canada is concerned.
I’m Canadian &, if it was up to me, we’d declare ourselves a Nordic country & do whatever is necessary to join the EU.
We are European in spirit & outlook; we should be European de jure.
As far as this USG is concerned, absolutely dead. And NATO's deterrence credibility was already in bad shape even before Trump.

But as long as 🇨🇦 and free and democratic 🇺🇸 remain on Euros' mind and vice versa, and as long as the willing remain so, there's Article 5 and it remains transatlantic.
December 5, 2025 at 9:24 PM
Sadly, putting “Christian” in your profile doesn’t make you a Christian. Jesus was pretty clear:
“A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.”
Nearly every single supporter of humans being blown up into a thousand pieces on boats have “Christian” in their profile.

These people will harp on about a line in Leviticus.

But will ignore one of GOD’S Commandments.

Thou Shalt NOT commit murder.

He thinks he can negotiate/bamboozle.
That’s why he’s racking up peace prizes from places like FIFA & got them to rename the peace institute in his names.
You may think I’m kidding; I don’t think I am.
I don’t understand one thing: clearly Trump is not long for this earth, he’s an older man. Still could live another 10 years but still that’s not long.

Does he really have no concern about facing his creator?

Angry elderly people…. I don’t understand
December 5, 2025 at 9:15 PM
I think it’s fair to say there is no such thing as a transatlantic alliance any more. Article 5 of NATO is a dead letter as far as the US is concerned.

So Trump 2.0 is now officially determined to officially meddle in Euro countries' domestic politics.

Not a new revelation, but the pompousness and self-righteousness of putting it in black and white in this official document is pathetic.

The message of the NSS is:

Europe, You’re on your own.
Europa, ihr seid auf euch allein gestellt.
Europe, tu es seule.
Europo, jesteś zdana na siebie.
Eurooppa, olet omillasi
Європо, ти сама за себе.

Grim—but realistic—in any language.
The new U.S. National Security Strategy calls for a quick end to the war in Ukraine, restoring balance with Russia, and halting NATO’s image as ever-expanding. Europe must defend itself. Washington now demands allies spend 5% of GDP on defense.

Because the rest of the video
is horrifying & shameful.
But we knew that already.
Why did the Pentagon only release video on the first strike?

Turns out, tariffs don’t increase domestic economic activity.
They actually inhibit it.
Anybody with even a passing understanding of the effect of tariffs in deepening & extending the Great Depression knew that already.

Hegseth & Trump use up & discard honourable military personnel the way others use toilet paper. I
It would take a huge amount of achievement to get where he was -- and that's part of the tragedy: the worthy lives ruined and the great potential destroyed by stupid, reckless people like Hegseth and Trump.

From what you know, do you think Adm. Bradley remembered his LAC briefings?
I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach that he ignored them in the belief that Trump would pardon him.
I hope not.
Trump pardoning him will keep him out of prison, but won’t prevent the erosion of military’s credibilty.
Completely contradicts everything I was taught in the Air Force. We sat in a theater every year for the Laws of Armed Conflict briefing so that people like Hegseth wouldn't get us imprisoned for murder.

It’s true. The best US minds of this generation have been absorbed into the military & squandered by their leaders.
