Hi #PortfolioDay! I'm a #portrait and #scifi #painter working mainly in oils on my own colorful, inventive conceptual series, but I do accept commissions and all that! Last day of 20% off sale today. Bruesselbach.square.site, main website obvious from handle.

Calendars with the discount plus shipping are $19.40. I'll call that $19 if we do direct payment. We're already nearly halfway through the month of ogling R31!

#Lunoids, A monthly painting cycle of color, time, and occupation themed synthetic workers, has a limited number of remaining calendars, on-demand archival prints, and available originals listed in my shop. Also a bunch of "clearance", previous projects, etc. bruesselbach.square.site/shop/lunoids...

Izzy in @brookass.bsky.social nude portrait. Queens of the clouds

Here is Izzy as a human from 2018
December 27, 2025 at 10:30 PM
somewhere around here there's a drawing I did of her humansona
December 27, 2025 at 10:27 PM
I know I have way more of these but I am not good at tracking art images
December 27, 2025 at 10:23 PM
just some photos
December 27, 2025 at 10:22 PM
Or I would just draw her sometimes
December 27, 2025 at 10:10 PM
Izzy ended up in a few other paintings since she liked to cozy up to models ( @brookass.bsky.social permission to post your portrait after this?)

We said goodbye to Isobel today. Easy Izzy, best cat, special girl, beautiful baby.

Day 25 #ArtAdventCalendar
Merry Christmas! A subtly festive vision of a synthetic gestational carrier, for a holiday of birth and the final month of #Lunoids . A personal work by someone currently carrying immaculately. #RobotArt

Day 24 #ArtAdventCalendar
My yearly self portrait at 34 reflected my main avenue of activism during the first T administration, street medicine. A nontypical and ill-advised performance, ahead of its peak prominence. I don't regret a NYE bummer in your relief feed.

Day 23 #ArtAdventCalendar
An old painting from a college series interpreting Baroque allegorical iconography. I particularly liked inverting or muddying values, like seeing the good in hypocrisy. Anyway, time to make donations that only count on taxes if they're to the nonprofit industry.

Day 22 #ArtAdventCalendar
The penultimate #Lunoids painting is a summation of the series and the least restricted in occupation, a performer or assistant or free agent, even. Synthetic red oxide is the thematic color, my staple. #RobotArt
(The most popular print)

Day 21 #ArtAdventCalendar
Behind this superficially floral #paleofacture painting is obsessive hexagonal pattern making and the concept of eusociality in coevolution with flowering plants. And dino scales, sort of. Pyrrole orange underpainting.

Day 20 #ArtAdventCalendar
As a rule I don't post photos of my kid on social media for the face algos to slurp up. But I have painted a portrait of them every year just after their birthday, this their 3rd. They're still figuring out identity but dresses are occasional.

It's late but FOUND OBJECT NATIVITY SCENE time
Rules:
Don't move from where you are
Use only objects in arm's reach
Abstractly represent christchild, parents, manger, animals, sages, angel, etc
(this one is lazy, needs better categorization but you get it right?)

Day 19 #ArtAdventCalendar
Still alternately working through #Lunoids and the color spectrum - this hunky robot firefighter uses transparent pyrrole orange and represents peak fire season October and around 8pm. #RobotArt

Day 18 #ArtAdventCalendar
More #AnalogImagination and I think the underpainting was also anthrapyrimidine here. The challenge of converting wordplay to a visual, fun with surrealism, and see what I mean about food and animals? Illustrating "emails" is a challenge for the ages.
December 18, 2025 at 1:08 PM
Day 17 #ArtAdventCalendar
Anthrapyrimidine yellow waitress bot for September in my #Lunoids painting cycle of #RobotArt, serving up a slice in a prison-like diner that doesn't quite make sense. #HumanArtist
December 17, 2025 at 6:00 PM
#Lunoids are fully on actual sale now! Pick up one of the 30 or so remaining #calendars or an on-demand archivaI #print of my 12 colorful #robot #paintings. I can't guarantee delivery by the 24th at this point, but by the New Year, for sure. bruesselbach.square.site/shop/lunoids...

Day 16 #ArtAdventCalendar
#AnalogImagination has been the project in which I generate paintings (without reference) from your submitted verbal prompts. Like much surrealism we got a lot of animals and food. This has a Green Gold underpainting and was done in one buttery session. bruesselbach.com/ai
