This is a paper by Eleonora Ornati and Iiulia Ushakova that I am really proud of. Who would have thought that the well-known Glucose Oxidase is up for some surprises, i.e., that it initiates radical polymerizations without the need for initiators or activation by light!

With our lab course in macromolecular chemistry at @tuda.bsky.social, we had the exciting opportunity to visit one of the technologically most advanced recycling plant for #HDPE at PreZero Polymers GmbH. They recycle post-consumer HDPE into high quality recycled material, e.g. for shampoo bottles
