Here-in lies the problem. I am speaking pragmatically here. It’s a small slice of the electorate, those who oppose Trans rights are enthusiastic in their opposition, and that yields more potential votes than supporting Trans rights (which should be a given). 1/2

This is true about Justice movements. That said it is a handy wedge issue for Republicans, and justice movements are often NOT popular, just accepted until they are not. We are backsliding in many of them today. After all stone cold racist was elected President….twice.

I have tried to. Simply put, in my experience these folks are just not motivated to listen. It has puzzled me because otherwise they are pretty liberal/progressive.

I am not saying they are not fighting for, however it would be a folly to think that you are going to win many converts.

It’s a difficult issue for Democrats to navigate. I was stunned at how many people I know that would NOT be classified as MAGA, Republicans, or even right if center that are very uncomfortable with the idea of Transexuals. It is just not a popular concept in 2020’s America.

Putin’s Russia attacked Ukraine. This is one sovereign nation attacking another sovereign nation. Neither of which answer to the United States.

Every single Democrat needs to internalize this:

ICE is a politicized operation that our tax dollars are paying for.

If Dem leaders don’t use every single legislative tool in their disposal to rein this in (ie shutting down this govt over funding) they aren’t doing their jobs.
