I understand that but I also understand that the Trump junta will very likely escalate anyway, but with a preemptive militarized state pushback, it actually might force that critical decision by federal commanders to stop following illegal, unconstitutional orders from Trump/Hegseth/Noem.

I don’t know why all blue state governors put their NG on high alert and deploy them to cities under siege to help enforce the laws of those states and protect citizens peacefully protesting. National Guard under the command of their governor are legally authorized to enforce laws.

suing the federal government on this stuff, as we’ve seen, is difficult when the Suprehr Supreme Court undercuts very solid decisions by the lower courts to essentially prevent meaningful enforcement and prevention of further unconstitutional actions by this federal government.

it’s already illegal because 4th Amendment. but it doesn’t matter because we now have no independent DOJ or Supreme Court who cares to enforce the Constitution but instead work to decimate it.
