humans are predisposed to autocracy/strong man/fascism. we’ve been doing that for millennia. self rule is a relatively new experiment. the weaker minds keep pulling us back to fascism. it takes education and civic responsibility/engagement to fend off that weakness. it takes work. it’s hard.

we are on the verge of another one. no more getting back to normal. we need thorough honest reform within the construct of the living Constitution. restore civics. remove barriers to voting. give the most important civic responsibility we have a national holiday. democracy doesn’t work without us.
