These democrats chose corporate money over the wellbeing of their own constituents. We need to primary each and every one of them next time they are up for reelection.

Good! The “president” should never be allowed to deploy the national guard against a city because the people there hurt his feelings.

Remember this, and the fact that Republicans won’t reopen the government unless Democrats allow republicans to kick millions of Americans off healthcare, come next November, and vote accordingly. We cannot let conservatives get away with this.

Also, congratulations to Zohran Mamdani for his blowout victory in the NYC mayoral election and building a coalition of voters with his message of making New York City affordable. Mamdani also polled well with young men ages 18-29, a demographic democrats struggled to appeal to last year.

I think it’s sad that we had to resort to gerrymandering to get ourselves into the best position to win the house in the 2026 midterms, but if Newsom never came up with Prop 50, we could potentially lose more seats in the house come 2026. Sometimes the only way to win is to fight fire with fire.

Americans are also increasingly concerned about the republican party’s embrace of authoritarianism and ICE raids, and Prop 50 provides a counter to Republican efforts to rig the 2026 midterms via gerrymandering, and it passed with overwhelming support.

This victory belongs to the candidates who focused their campaigns on combating the economic concerns of Americans. Polls have consistently ranked the economy as the primary concern of Americans, and when you focus on said concerns, you demonstrate to these people that their voice matters.

This is unacceptable. The only reason Kat is being indicted is because she stood up to ICE by means of civil disobedience and the orange ape’s feelings got hurt. Conservatives stand behind the first amendment only when it concerns their first amendment rights.
