Mohsen Mahdawi of White River Junction, Vermont was illegally detained by ICE during what was supposed to be the final step in his citizenship process.

Kids discovered the 1986 game Where in the USA is Carmen Sandiego (thank their teacher and Internet Archive!) and the background knowledge required to interpret the clues was extensive. Will now be singing to Rockapella the rest of the week.

The problem with reliving the '20s and '30s is that I am just not wild about living through a Great Depression so power can renormalize after unqualified and corrupt leaders break everything all over again, get run out of office, and then we somehow reanimate a Roosevelt to fix it up.
