Today! Wore a real shoe for 3.5 hours, including while teaching 2 classes! Slugger and I walked .5 in the am and .75 this pm (in boot)! I just took a shower standing up! PROGRESS BABY!!! But my legs are pooped!

For my Secret Santa this year I'm doing the 12 days of Christmas, starting tomorrow (12 school days left...). Used Gemini to get little poems. But day 1's seeds aren't here yet and I wanna go to bed. (There is no wrapping etc in the am)

Yesterday I asked some of my classes my favorite question. What would you give, to whom, and why, if there were no barriers. I always get great answers. I'd give Slugger the gift of no pain or lumps and bumps. This is an answer I got. From a student I would never have expected.

I put on a real shoe! (Doc told me to start trying after a week in the boot) Walked about 100 steps and gave up. It hurt. I have no idea if I'm walking "right". So I'm just gonna wait until PT on Monday.

Finally made it to trader Joe's (4 months?!). Got us a little Christmas tree 😁🥰 I'll get some lights at the dollar store and we'll be festive without digging out the decor from the shed!
