My enemies are many, my equals are none

Calling me a troll when I’ve made a valid argument doesn’t make me a troll. Grow up
Half of our economic issues atm are because the government printed money for covid stimulus. And that’s just stimulus, not even close to meeting deficit

I beg you. Never seek a position of power
December 6, 2025 at 9:54 PM
You don’t understand how money works do you? Yes. The government can go broke

Yes the government distributes currency

For fuck sake. Do you think they can just print more? Do you know what happens to countries when they try that?
December 6, 2025 at 9:54 PM
That’s not how currency actually works lol.
December 6, 2025 at 9:52 PM
NASA also didn’t create SpaceX. And to claim the CCP messed it up is absurd frankly

Also not once was it a single source competition. Again, that’s just false
December 6, 2025 at 9:52 PM
Emotional? Bro he’s not emotionally favourable

And that’s projecting a bias in and of itself to assume he will be emotionally attracted because of weak reasoning

And no. There is not financial bias. That’s been established and will be routed out by the ethics committee
December 6, 2025 at 9:52 PM
No it’s like saying you don’t rely on Ford to make pickups.
December 6, 2025 at 8:08 PM
You too
December 6, 2025 at 2:42 AM
Yeah they have deep ties. Doesn’t change the nature of many of their MOUs

Also, as a note. Starlink isn’t primarily a D2C provider. This is more of a side hustle for them atm

AST getting a significant market share in the sector doesn’t mean they’re being outcompeted on their overall market
December 6, 2025 at 2:42 AM
Not actually better really when they’re significantly more disruptive

And it’s no surprise they have their own intentions. Why did you think they hoovered up spectrum rights?
December 6, 2025 at 2:36 AM
They were quite literally referred to as the worst offenders by the IAU because of this. The block 2 sats will be even brighter (mag -1, as bright as Vega)
December 6, 2025 at 2:30 AM
And yes. There have been complaints

The current Block 1 sats are mag 0.3 at brightest (target is 7, so 300x brighter. Average is still 40x brighter min)
December 6, 2025 at 2:30 AM
I mean as competitive. Their niche isn’t much wider than starlinks and Starlink has a head start despite a tortoise approach to rollout

20-40% share is what’s projected. Starlink is currently at 92% in beta
December 6, 2025 at 2:30 AM
The MOUs here are also exploratory deals. Starlinks are binding and commercial deals
December 6, 2025 at 2:20 AM
This is just how the two compete though. AST is bidding on quantity atm then having a solid market when they enter

Starlink has more agreements with operators but only a few for D2C because they prefer to have a working network and revenue potential before making deals
December 6, 2025 at 2:20 AM
Never seek a position of power lol

If this is all you treat a means of exchange as

Do you know what happens when countries take the rookie error of just printing money?
December 6, 2025 at 2:16 AM
Yeah they have some deals. But to claim they’re going to be as competitive is a stretch

There’s also something that should be noted about the fact their sats are enormous and bright.

Very hard to scale that and meet astronomical targets
December 6, 2025 at 2:15 AM
Florida Phoenix is not a valid source lol

I mean from the outset it’s saying they will “block beaches” by which they mean limited closures for launches not denial of public access

I suggest you widen your sources from clickbait tabloids who are feeding you a story not the truth
December 6, 2025 at 2:08 AM
Use ≠ rely on. The U.S. absolutely does not rely on Starlink and Starshield is managed and operated by the pentagon
December 6, 2025 at 2:07 AM
And he ISNT THE CONTESTANT

You are starting from a false premise. Also NASA isn’t the market regulator
December 6, 2025 at 2:06 AM
Testing is also not done through NASA. Only some work is done this way (such as entry testing) but this isn’t a conflict of interest and isn’t something Jared could change the agreements on to actually benefit SpaceX
December 6, 2025 at 2:06 AM
Their portfolio with Starlink is 12mil. Not billions

And no. NASA doesn’t have strong links with Starlink. If you feel any different please cite specifically where this is the case
December 6, 2025 at 2:06 AM
So again I ask. Can you cite examples SPECIFICALLY where they’re ‘bypassing’ their environmental requirements under their assessments and subsequent licenses?

Not vague accusations that don’t standup to basic scrutiny
December 6, 2025 at 2:03 AM
The two pads, a cadence far higher than current and additional construction is all covered under the EA and mitigated FONSI

“Fuel contamination” is…not a thing here lol. The fuel is methane not hydrazine

During all breakups so far methane and lox have dispersed all within assessed limits.
December 6, 2025 at 2:03 AM
This is just false
December 5, 2025 at 4:48 PM
It’s why there’s so much in terms of per flight significance and care put into the mission now

Something as simple as naming boosters with funny and lighthearted quotes does an immense amount to making morale solid
