Here is a fresh one from the kiln. I think I’m starting to feel a greater sense of ownership about this work. I picked and mixed the slip, sig, and the glazes. While I am starting to tweak the details the larger parts are starting to find their footing.

Here is a fresh one from the kiln. I think I’m starting to feel a greater sense of ownership about this work. I picked and mixed the slip, sig, and the glazes. While I am starting to tweak the details the larger parts are starting to find their footing.

I’ve been working on some bowl ideas recently and this is my first attempt at making one. With more space to work, and the potential for a new place to fire my mind is enjoying the freedom.
