Really hoping we can wringe a good wetting rain out of this. I’m not overly optimistic about the remainder of the wet season

You’re the man, thank you! Glad they are moving to a new core for RRFSv2, it has been clear RRFSv1 is not fit for operational use (yet)

I’m starting to wonder if that trough is a smoke screen for the one after it… EC/AIFS/CMC all suggesting that.
That being said the GFS has been king recently and it shows nothing of the sort.
