Nominees for new Secretary of Defense?

In an unrelated story, last week, Border Patrol agents discovered a black duffel bag containing $500M with the words "For Inaguration" printed on its side.

@missionlocal.org Can we get an update on that story you broke about the SFPD running down a pedestrian near Industrial on Dec 11th?

"A note from the editors:... This [story] was a mistake not just by the reporter but by the Standard’s editorial team..."

Yet the SFStandard still seems oddly detached from the real story: Who cleared this "mistake"? What were they thinking? What made them change their mind? Why is it still up?

Holy Guacamole! I used to follow the SF Standard, but how can I after this criminal endorsement of fencing stolen goods?

Some early adopters use the term "skeet." I find the term derivative and lacking imagination (sky + tweet) and frankly somewhat triggering. To me, it evokes an old relationship that ended badly. I prefer "post" or "posted" and will continue to do so until someone comes up with something better.
