Yeah, I get it. I mean, I did get really pretty strong at French before I took on Spanish. But I’ve had to keep Spanish and Italian apart like cats who fight. I won’t even look at Spanish while I’m working on Italian. And vice versa.

I actually took a few Ukrainian lessons online this fall because fuck Russian now. Similar, but not similar enough to be mistaken for a ‘dialect.’ Even a little more different than Spanish and Italian, I would say.

Right? I took Russian in college for one year, and I was alright at it. The cases are a bitch. The alphabet wasn’t that hard. I thought Polish might be easier because Latin alphabet. WRONG! Check, please.
