As someone weird who is all about normalizing weirdness, I don't love "weird" being used to criticise the Right, but I nevertheless support the strategy because I understand I'm not the center of the world.

hey not to be all corny but please understand and internalize that your creative work is vital and beautiful whether others see/hear it or not and that your creative expression enriches the world just by your having done it

I think what makes me such a great writer is that sometimes I'll look at a word and it stops working. my grasp on linguistic meaning is tenuous, at times. I don't know what that has to do with being good at writing, but it has to mean something because otherwise it would be a weird thing to admit to

quick guidelines for writers: a period indicates a pause of about ten seconds. a comma, about seven second. an em-dash should be pronounced as loudly as possible. an ellipsis should remove a month from your lifespan. a semicolon should taste like dirt in the reader's mouth. a sentence can end wherev
