I was reading more of the comments and this one shows the ban is having the opposite effect... Suspending the account makes the parent lose parental controls. But the kid can still use YT with ads. Seriously? This is so stupid.

My kid hates 6-7 so much.
When he went to see the latest overwatch update all I could hear was "noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo" from upstairs cuz it's 6-7 themed XD

My 12 year old has a phone only because his new school is on the opposite side of the city and we need to be able to get in touch with him. But the entire phone was set up through parental control. We know everything he does. It's baked into the phone during set up.

My first taste of the industry was someone from a major network reached out and asked if I was interested in pitching any children's shows. In the contract provided it said they could already be developing that exact same idea and they would owe me nothing for it. Big red flag, bounced immediately.
