I intended to go to bed 2 hours ago; but I got sucked in & finished Anima Rising by @theauthorguy.bsky.social
I was nervous this one wasn’t for me bc it’s heavy at first. But man, that 2nd half flew by & his usual banter was back & I loved learning J’s story. Don’t skip the afterward on this one 📚💙

I have no idea what took me to long to finally sign up with Net Galley, but I did last night & over night 3 of my requests were approved. I can’t yet tell if this is going to be the best or worst thing for me. 💙📚

We started watching Dexter Original Sin (I wanted to wait until a chunk of episodes were out, I hate waiting week to week) & I’m surprisingly impressed with it. The casting is great & young Deb/Dex have their adult counterparts down perfectly. 🔪

I love him so much, and I feel like pretty soon the massive gen pop love of him is going to disappear as soon as they realize he’s just got lots of albums about killing himself. 😂 my man can sing anything he wants & I’m gonna love it with that voice.
