here's a little bash script that you can put in your precommit to make sure your commit on your django project is not introducing untranslated strings (assuming all the strings you care about are already gettext wrapped)

i was annoyed there are no really safe and robust formatters for django html templates. so, i thought about it this weekend, and, even in the restricted case it would require a formatter that could solve the halting problem.
the very restricted case might be still be worth doing though.
