Insubordinate, and churlish

Note to any future Democratic President. This is how you do it.
Mayor Mamdani has nullified every executive order issued by Eric Adams after he struck his corrupt bargain with Trump to secure dismissal of the indictment against him.

Maybe if y'all pass another resolution thanking ICE they'll be nicer to you.
Senator Padilla was thrown on the ground and handcuffed, all because he was exercising his duty as a senator.

We need a full investigation into what the hell happened, and what's going to be done to see that this doesn't happen again to Senator Padilla or any American citizen.

In about 1997 I was in the Air Force Band. We played a convention where Colin Powell was speaker. I was backstage and there was an amazing tray of sandwiches sitting there. Powell came in, said "Better get it while you can," grabbed a sandwich, and left. Never forgot those words.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie

The craziest thing about this fight between Trump and Elon Musk is that Republicans are trying to take away health care from 16 million people to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.

If one - just one - of these people said "I didn't intend vote for this. I f-ed up. Here's the work I'm gonna do to make it right." But they never do. It's always "I f-ed this up. Be nice to me or I'll f- it up again." There's never any attempt on their part to accept any responsibility.
This is why "you're right, it isn't what you voted for, because your values aren't shared by the Republican Party" is a much more effective message to help build a better America than "yes you did vote for this, you bad person" which fails to take advantage of this once-in-a-generation opportunity
I think, done properly, they merge into one.

She may not have explicitly wanted this to happen, & not thought it was what she was voting for, but she did, in fact, vote for it.

That's the gap that needs fixing: between what she *thought* she was voting for & what she *actually* was voting for.

Step up, stand up, speak out.

This moment is hard — I don't dispute that, but this isn't the time to be afraid.

Make your voice heard, whether it’s at a town hall or on the phone, so Donald Trump and Republicans know how sick and tired you are of them cutting your services.

I watched "The French Connection" for the first time and, on top of all the other good things about it, it was so nice to see city traffic without any stupid pickup trucks.
